As Hanna gets older she’s really enjoying play doh more and more. She’s been known to create a bakery full of goodies, animals, all kinds of things she can make up using her imagination and some play doh.
We’ve been working on reading, and spelling a lot. I’ve printed out some spelling sheets, where you fill in the last letter of a word. The sheets are laminated, and you can write on them with a dry erase marker. I thought, since they are laminated, it would be great to use playdough on them.
I hunted down some letter cookie cutters and now she’s all set, to start spelling with play doh. Making spelling, reading and learning fun is the key to a life long enjoyment of those things.
