My daughter is now 4 years old. She is a horse fanatic and very imaginative. I have been thinking about getting her a dollhouse ~ knowing it will probably turn into a horse house. I hadn’t found one I really liked, and then I saw the Fisher Price Loving Family Grand Dollhouse, and I knew this was the one. I added it to my gift list on Amazon and will order it for her for Christmas.
My mom really wanted to get her a dainty wooden doll house, but I went with this one because she’s not the “gentlest” of kids, and I know this one will stand up to the hours of rough play she is sure to dole out. This is a terrific doll house for toddlers and younger kids who still have a tough time being gentle. It’s allows you to just let them play and enjoy themselves without worrying if the house or pieces will get broken.
What I love about the Loving Family Grand Dollhouse
This doll house is a Beautiful Victorian with 8 extra-large rooms, and a family with twins to enjoy it all! The house opens wide for easy access; folds up with accessories stored inside, when you’re finished playing. Sweet colors, charming details and lots of special touches. The super set Includes baby twins, Mom, Dad, dining room table, 2 chairs and 2 booster seats. Everyone likes to relax in the Living Room with its comfy chair, bookcase, 2 tables, dog with puppies, and accessories. It has a Spa-like Bathroom with vanity drawers that open, soft towels and rug, and other luxurious touches. The up-to-date Kitchen has refrigerator that opens, and special cooktop sounds.
You can also purchase the Loving Family doll house alone and deck it out with whichever of the accessories kits you choose. There are many to choose from. One thing I’ve heard is it can be difficult to find the accessory sets at your local store, so it might be a good idea to get the “super set” doll house or order the additional accessories at the same time as you order the house.
The additional accessory packs, which generally run between 17 and 30 dollars. These would make great future gifts ~ or if other friends and family know your kiddo is getting it they could all get her an accessory pack so her house would be completely decorated right away.

A nice modern bedroom for the often too old timey Loving Family furniture. Everything in this set is well done and looks great, my daughter really liked it.
I purchased this set for my daughter’s LF Grand Dollhouse. I like the style and decor of the furniture. The quilt on the bed is attached at the bottom so the parents can be placed under the covers. And the chest opens.
However, I was disappointed that it didn’t include more… like a chest of drawers and/or a mirror. The robe stand is ok – the mother can wear the robe, but I think it’s a waste of space and money. The mom looks a little silly wearing the robe when she is permanently dressed in slacks and a shirt. A child could identify more with a mirror and a chest of drawers.
For this reason, I gave it 3 stars. It’s an average doll house addition. Nothing special in my opinion.

My daughter received the dollhouse for Christmas, but only a couple of the accessory pieces. Once we bought this one for her birthday, she uses the dollhouse all the time. Now she has someplace for the sister to sleep. If only they made a brother bed…he wouldn’t have to sleep in the bathtub! The bedroom set is durable, but the pillow and blankets are a little big to stay on the bed, but my daughter doesn’t seem to mind.

What’s a play house without a baby’s room, eh? The Loving Family Grand House comes with a baby swing and a baby, why not add to baby’s accessories. This is also a nice way to help a preschooler who has a sibling on the way or already in the house. It’s like their own little nursery.

This set is really cute. Comes with a crib (plays 4 nice tunes) that lights up when the music is on, changing table (the door opens for a lot of storage inside), rocking chair (you can push back and forth 
), toy mouse with a ball attached (looks like a mouse), a blue/pink/yellow rug with bunnies and heart design(doesn’t feel like any fabric I’ve felt before), and babies ring toys! The Loving Family Doll house and accessories were a big hit for my 3 year old this Christmas. My 8 year old son even enjoys this toy. I would suggest you buy it. My only warning – The crib is LOUD. If noisy twangy music bugs you – keep the batteries out of this one.

This furniture is made very nicely, and is very durable. It is a nice addition to any little girl ‘just moving in’, but I wouldn’t buy it at this site, because it is extremely over priced, $49 bucks, are you nuts? You can get this set at any store for $7.99. It’s not like it’s a collector’s item and is hard to find, get real! I would recommend getting this somewhere else, you can get way more for your dollar. Other than the price, the set is cute and well made, but don’t buy from this seller, he’s over priced.

This is a GREAT set for a GREAT dollhouse but what in the world is going on out there that people are selling one $9 room for this price? I can’t find much of a selection of Loving Family furniture in stores post-Christmas, but does this mean Fisher-Price is going to discontinue it? Does somebody out there know something I don’t? The whole reason this dollhouse is so great is that it was affordable and cute and our daughters love it. I refuse to believe that it’s a rare collector’s treasure.

My granddaughter got the Fisher-Price Loving Family doll house for her second birthday. All the family chose different rooms as their birthday gifts to fill
the house. She spends hours on end organizing and re-designing her doll house.
The furniture is durable, creative designs, and very colorful. All pieces seem

My daughter was really happy to get these little babies because we looked everywhere and none of the local stores had them or any substitute that would fit in the Loving Family cradles. My only complaint is that one of the babies is missing paint where an eye would be. I guess one day I’ll get around to trying to paint it in.
