Fisher Price Toddler Toys Review

Is your daughter like mine, does she love music and want to “I do it” everything? My daughter has already broken a number of CD players, both portable and non. So today I was quite excited when I saw the Fisher Price fp3 player! This fp3 player is kid tough and ready to tackle anything she brings to the table.

I’m pretty excited because it not only comes with music and stories, but there are also fp3 download songs and stories you can get from the Fisher Price content website. The extra songs from the website cost extra, but you can also download music from your computer, and from other cds you already own.

There are a lot of options for the Fisher price kid tough fp3. What I most like is I don’t have to hear the “Wheels on the Bus” for three hours on the way to Tulsa every month. However, I do like to sing and dance with her so the fp3 speakers are an awesome feature. You just plug the fp3 player into the speakers and everyone gets to hear the music.

This player is everything it’s cracked up to be. It’s tough, and VERY easy to load, and I am no tech junkie. Far from it actually. So, once I got the program loaded on the computer, it was a snap to learn. My 4 yr old daughter ust loves it. She’ll insist on taking it in the car whenver we’re in there, and also will listen to it at home just the same. The only problem (and it’s minor) is that the battery life isn’t that great. I had to buy rechargable batteries for the amount of use she gives it. Totally worth the investment.

My son and my niece (both 3 1/2) just love this toy. They received their FP3 players for Christmas, and have not put them down since. It didn’t take long for them to figure out how to work the controls, and they are completely able to handle this device on their own. Uploading songs is easy. I have yet to purchase songs from the website…I just transfer from our own collection of CDs. My son listens to it in the car, but recently took it inside the mall on an after-Christmas shopping spree. He was content for almost 4 hours with this thing. Love it!!!

As you can see the Fisher Price fp3 is a great alternative to the ipod, cheaper and will last longer.  I think our little monkey might find one under the tree this Christmas!

The Fisher Price Rainforest collection is not exactly toys ~ well it’s not toys at all really. However, they still make terrific gifts for Christmas.

The collection is actually a matching set of all the different baby gear  you need to fully entertain your baby and actually get a little time to take a shower. Every mother knows how important a few moments of silence to get a shower is!

I find sometimes I might not spend the money for these products, but when I recieve them as gifts for holidays they are always warmly welcomed and have made my life much easier.

So what all is in the Fisher Price Rainforest Collection?

Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo: Everything your baby needs can be found in this Rainforest Jumperoo. Its newly designed frame allows you to opens it up from the top, and lets the seat rotate 360 degrees so baby can play and interact from any side. A fun seat and toys at five locations on the platform engage baby all the way around, and an electronic toy at the front has motion, music and lights that can be activated by baby spinning a drum.

Seat also features a bobbling elephant, a monkey swinging from a vine, a parrot hanging from a bead bar, a clear spinning bead ball, a tiger that plays hide and seek, a spinning lizard that makes rattling sounds, a tethered chew toy and a stack of chips with cute graphics for baby to explore.

Two soft leaves extend from the frame to create an overhead ‘canopy’ with soft toys that dangle down for fun bat-at play. Jumperoo has has three height adjustments for extended use. Frame pivots to a nested position so it can be tucked away when not in use. Includes a motion sensor that encourages kids by rewarding them with lights and sounds when they jump. The toy bar easily removes for getting baby in & out. Two great modes of play include: 1. mom activated – with 6 longer, continuous playing songs and 2. baby activated – with 6 shorter songs plus 3 sound effects that reward baby for active play with the toys. Fisher Price Rainforest Gym: The gym brings the magic of the rainforest to baby with fun activities and 20 minutes of music. Repositionable toys include a soft hanging monkey, a soft toucan with jingle, an elephant with soft ears and a spinner with beads, a parrot with a paddle spinner, and a frog character mirror. 2 satin butterflies fly around above baby as colored lights pulse on and off while music plays. The large mat has a quilted rainforest scene and is surrounded by a satin border.

Areas on the mat for baby to explore include a large crinkle peek-a-boo leaf with a shiny underside, sun ray ribbons, and a soft tiger tail. A large soft giraffe sits at the bottom of the rainbow arch and has 2 points on which to link toys for baby. Mom can also link the toys to any of 3 link points on the mat as well as to any of 5 link points overhead for a total of 11 places to link toys for baby.

Mom can choose between 3 modes of play: 1. Baby mode allows baby’s play time movements to set off 8 to 12 seconds of lights and music 2. Music mode plays music for 20 minutes while baby plays 3. What sold me on the Fisher Price Rainforest model was:
-5 point harness
-Crotch bar so they can’t slide out when you’re unbuckling them
-Tray can be nestled up close when they are sitting so the food doesn’t slide into their lap
-Tray liner that can be put in dishwasher
-Straps that can be put in dishwasher
-Seat cover that can be pretty much hosed down

If you love for all your baby gear to match the rainforest collection is the perfect way to go. It’s great for a boy or a girl, and has everything you could need to get you and your baby off to a terrific start.

My first experience with the Fisher Price Little People Farm was last summer while we were on vacation in Branson. My sister-in-law brought the Fisher Price Farm with her for her daughter to play with. Her daughter was just one at the time and mine was just barely 2. Her daughter loved the little people farm. The Fisher Price Little People Village is another in the line of Fisher Price Little People sets. The Little People Village provides toddlers with many ways to engage their brains as well as their imaginations. Unlike some of the more simple little people sets this one has enough to really get the imagination going, and get your toddler thinking.
